Ambient Temperature

This refers to interior or exterior  air temperature.

Amine Bloom

Amines

Organic compounds used in accelerators, hardeners, activators for the curing of 2-pack coatings.

Anaglypta

An embossed, decorative wallpaper that can be self-finished or overcoated with emulsion paints.

Anti Fouling Pains/Coatings

Anti Fouling coatings are used on the hull of all types of marine craft from sailing yachts to large marine shipping.

An anti fouling coating is formulated to erode as the vessel passes through the water.

This prevents marine growth which would other wise slow the craft down.

Anti-Carbonation Coatings

A paint coating for the protection of cementitious surfaces such as concrete structures from pollutants.  While protecting the surface moisture vapour can travel through the film without causing damage or failure. see 'carbonation'

Anti-Condensation Paint

Special paint coatings that permit moisture to remain on the surface without forming water globules. These coatings can be matt and smooth or in some instances textured.
