An electric air gun used for the removal of old paint coatings.
This type is less likely to scorch/burn the surface. Ideal when translucent wood finishes are going to be applied.

Hydrochloric Acid Acid is used to etch newly laid cementitious before painting.
It is also available to remove unwanted mortar splashes from bricks.
Hydrochloric acid and can also be applied 
as a rust remover.
